
Taking a nap or sleep for a moment during the lunch break could reduce the risk of death, especially for young men. Research by Greek scientists during the six-year period mentioned said that taking a nap for about 30 minutes at least three times a week could reduce a 37 percent lower risk of heart problems
The scientists conclude, taking a nap can help people relax and reduce their stress, heart disturbances, although a number of studies show different results.
This research conducted in Greece was made on 23 681 men and women in the age range 20 to 86 years. The participants have a good health record, no history of heart disease and other acute diseases.
The result, the researchers said those who took a nap had 34 percent lower risk of heart disorder than who did not.
Meanwhile, those who taking a nap for more than 30 minutes for three or more in each week has a record 37 percent lower heart disorder.
Taking a nap also reduces the risk of heart disorder on the workers, where about 64 percent decreased risk of death becouse of heart disorder. While unemployment only about 36 percent.
In this study, the comparison of death rate is not much found the in women.
Take a nap and blood vessel disorders have a significant relationship. This phenomenon is found in countries whose majority population taking a nap routinely, and the result is found that the death rate becouse of blood vessels disorder is very low.
Although various studies about nap conclude different results, but the important points from this study, are: we know our ability and healty to control the activities of its physical.
Although only a nap for few minute, but It could return energy back and keeps the body fit. A nap should begin being our habit.
